An active, evolving process, wellness is a journey in which we strive to achieve our optimal health. The body is an all-encompassing vehicle that moves us through our journey. Let massage therapy develop, maintain, rehabilitate, and augment* your body's health in its movement to wellness.
Massage therapy is the application of hands-on techniques to body tissues with intent to therapeutically assess and treat. Anna Koblentz, RMT will use manual therapy techniques to enhance the healing process of the irritated tissues. Techniques that may be used in combination include general Swedish massage, myofascial release, strain-counter-strain, taping, neuromuscular therapy, joint mobilizations, and soft tissue mobilization with movement. Massage therapy can be helpful to assess dysfunction, increase joint range of motion, decrease pain, and improve healing.
Massage therapy is a regulated, evidence-based practice that aims to promote health and relieve pain.
“A registered massage therapist (RMT) in British Columbia is a healthcare professional regulated by the College of Complementary Health Professions of BC under BC’s Health Professions Act.”**
